If you’re a community leader, board member volunteer or are a homeowner within a Scottsdale Homeowners Association (HOA), there are several resources available that can help you navigate the many duties, responsibilities, and benefits that come with living in a beautiful, vibrant community like ours:

  1. City of Scottsdale Essentials

  • Trash Collection, Recycle, & Bulk Trash: Be sure to review your community’s collection schedules.
  • Scottsdale 311: Neighborhood app that delivers a quick and simple way for residents to connect with the city for non-emergency services.
  • Experience Scottsdale:  Find fun things to do in town, learn more about the history and find local businesses.
  • Scottsdale Water Conservation: Scottsdale Water aids Homeowners Associations (HOAs) across the city through its Water Conservation HOA Program. Find tips, rebates and grants available to the community.

  1. Scottsdale Homeowner Assistance

  • Maricopa County Emergency Home Repair Program: Helps eligible Maricopa County homeowners repair health and safety conditions in their residence, including non-functioning air conditioning and heating systems. Please note that the program is subject to availability based on funding.
  • Scottsdale Mortgage and Rental Assistance: Visit this link to find out more about eligibility and assistance programs offered to City of Scottdale homeowners and residents.
  • Operation Fix It: Operation Fix It (OFI) works in the community with dedicated volunteers and city staff to assist qualified Scottsdale homeowners. The program helps qualified applicants with code enforcement referrals and issues related to health and safety on the property.

  1. City of Scottsdale HOA Resource Center

  • Scottsdale HOAs can take advantage of many City resources including water conservation rebates, attend Scottsdale Water’s landscape workshops during the spring and fall, and grass removal assistance to help with common area water use.
  • G.A.I.N. Event Help:  G.A.I.N. is an annual event we celebrate in Arizona designed to unite neighbors and communities to help create safer neighborhoods. The City of Scottsdale has block party equipment for rent and can help you coordinate city representation at your event!

  1. Professional Scottsdale HOA Management Services

  • A local community management company familiar with Scottsdale HOA Management can help by handling day-to-day services such as maintenance scheduling, vendor oversight, and assessment collections. A professional management company can help HOA boards to focus on long-term planning and community engagement, enhancing overall efficiency and resident satisfaction.
  • Be sure to consult with other local professionals.  Services that Scottsdale homeowners associations may consider include landscapers, reserve study providers, association banking solutions, HOA management software and accounting services.
