Veda Jones, AMS (Association Management Specialist), is a highly
accomplished and detail-oriented community association manager.
Veda excels in delivering high-quality association management services and oversees the community experience during the onboarding and transition process. Veda’s dedication to customer service, problem-solving, and performance optimization has earned her a reputation as a trusted and results-driven professional. She thrives in the dynamic environment that transitions demand, consistently delivering high standards of management while balancing the needs of the community and the association’s goals.
Director of Community Operations
Marlen Rasmussen, CMCA, serves as Director of Community Operations for Arizona Community First Management, where she provides leadership and operational support to the community management team while helping ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for the Boards and homeowners we serve.
With extensive experience in Arizona community association management, Marlen has overseen teams of Community Managers and supported a diverse portfolio of associations, including large-scale master-planned communities with onsite management. Her background includes Board relations, operational oversight, customer service, vendor coordination, and guiding management teams through the day-to-day responsibilities of community management.
Marlen is committed to building strong partnerships with Boards of Directors through responsive communication, practical guidance, and dependable follow-through. She enjoys mentoring Community Managers and helping teams deliver organized, consistent service while adapting to the unique needs of each community.
As a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Marlen brings both leadership experience and a collaborative approach to supporting Arizona communities.

Carmen holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation, underscoring her dedication to professional excellence in the community management industry. Now leading business development at Arizona Community First, she combines industry knowledge with a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach. Her 16+ years of experience and hands-on background give her a deep understanding of board needs and operational challenges Arizona communities face. Carmen helps clients explore better-fit management solutions with clarity, care, and credibility. Combined with her extensive professional experience in community and resident engagement, association communications, and event planning, Carmen is highly skilled at creating meaningful connections with the communities we serve.
