Arizona Community First Management is pleased to welcome Marlen Rasmussen, CMCA, as our new Director of Community Management.

As Arizona Community First continues to grow, maintaining a high level of service and responsiveness remains a top priority. For founder and President Michelle O’Robinson, PCAM, that means building a team with the experience, knowledge, and leadership skills necessary to support both Community Managers and the Boards they serve.

“Experience matters in this business,” says Michelle O’Robinson, PCAM. “Our Boards should have confidence that the people working with their communities understand association management, know how to work with Boards, and will follow through. As we grow, we want to continue adding experienced professionals who share that approach.”

Experience in Large-Scale Community Management

Marlen brings extensive Arizona community association management experience to her new role. Her management background includes onsite oversight of a large-scale master-planned community of nearly 2,000 homes, where she was involved in the daily operation of the community and its amenities.

Her experience includes working with Boards on community priorities and budgeting, overseeing landscaping and amenity operations, coordinating vendors, facilitating professional Board meetings, and working directly with homeowners. That firsthand experience provides an important perspective when supporting Community Managers and the communities they oversee.

Leadership, Mentorship and Board Relationships

Before joining Arizona Community First Management, Marlen also served in a leadership role overseeing a team of Community Managers. She provided guidance and mentorship to managers while helping them navigate Board relationships, homeowner concerns, operational issues, and the many competing priorities that come with community association management.

As Director of Community Management, Marlen will continue that focus by providing leadership and support to our management team and helping maintain consistency across the communities we serve. She will be an additional resource for both our managers and Boards, helping ensure concerns are addressed promptly and that our teams have the support needed to provide responsive, informed service.

Growing Without Losing What Matters

For Arizona Community First Management, growth is not simply about adding more communities. It is about having the right people and structure in place to continue providing responsive service as the company expands our reach. Our approach is centered on communication, accessibility, and follow-through. Community members should be able to reach their management team, understand what is happening in their community, and feel confident that requests and directives are being addressed.

Adding experienced leaders like Marlen strengthens that foundation. We are excited to have her experience and perspective on our team and look forward to the role she will play in supporting our Community Managers, Boards, and homeowners throughout Arizona.

Please join us in welcoming Marlen Rasmussen, CMCA, to Arizona Community First Management.
